‘Anger Management’ season 2: Charlie Sheen talks Lindsay Lohan drama on set
If there is one person out there who is going to be completely honest in a public forum, regardless of whether or not you want them to be, it’s Charlie Sheen. Therefore, we ended up getting quite a revealing interview on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on Wednesday night that was very much about some of the rumors regarding Lindsay Lohan’s guest-starring appearance on the show.
There were a number of rumors that circulated around the internet that the troubled “Mean Girls” star was late to the set, and Sheen was quick to explain that these were … well, pretty much true:
“Day one, she was fabulous. She was on time; she knew her lines, hit every mark, made us look off our game. … Then we had to deal with day two. It was as though she had us held hostage because she gave us half a show. She was really not feeling well. We worked around it. She was late, what can I say? But she got to the shoot prepared … with an excuse.”
Sheen admits that the casting was in part his idea, since the two did work on “Scary Movie 5” together, and had received a good bit of press over the past several months with stories that he claims were planted in the press by her team. Therefore, it only made sense for the show to try and capitalize on her star power to bring in extra viewers. As to whether or not this is actually going to work, we’ll have an opportunity to find out in full come Thursday night when the show airs.
What do you think about Charlie’s comments, and are you excited to see if Lohan brings anything interesting to “Anger Management” in her guest spot?
