‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: More on masks
Whether it is physical or metaphorical, there is very little doubting just how big of an impact masks have played in the world of “Pretty Little Liars” over the years. Hanna, Spencer, Aria, and Emily spent the first two seasons chasing an unknown, and even after they learned the identity of “A,” there was still the question of who was working with her. We’ve seen costume parties aplenty, and a costume shop was the setting for an entire web series this past fall.
So what is coming to us next from this mysterious world? According to a new report from E! News, the upcoming third episode of season 4 is entitled “Cat’s Cradle,” and we are going to have an opportunity to meet someone who specializes in creating some pretty horrifying masks. His name is Hector Lime, and some of his other specialties include creating all sorts of props for horror movies.
So could he be somebody that is definitely up to no good? At the moment, it certainly seems so. However, we do have to wonder almost simultaneously just how much the Liars have to be afraid of now when it comes to masks. With the revelation that Alison DiLaurentis may actually be Red Coat, they have a face lined up to the girl who has been the ringleader of everything over the past couple of years. With that in mind, and also the fact that she seemingly saved them from the fire, it would seem like the show would revolve more around unearthing names than unearthing faces.
