‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: The step before ‘The Originals’
If you love “The Vampire Diaries” to the point of being a frequent reader of news about it online, you probably know already that the upcoming 20th episode of season 4 is going to be called “The Originals.” What you may not know, at least until now, is just what the hit CW show plans on doing right before that.
While we don’t know much in the way of details about the episode yet, we can confirm that the 19th episode is going to be entitled “Pictures of You.” Whatever happens during this hour is sure to bleed straight into Klaus’ adventures in New Orleans with Elijah, and the arrival of all of the new faces in what is going to be the backdoor pilot for the new show. “The Originals” has been worked on diligently by executive producer Julie Plec and her team for several weeks, and there are surely some high expectations out there for the episode to meet the hopes of all of the devoted fans.
For those of you wondering about the possible meaning to “Pictures of You,” there are multiple songs with this title, including one by The Cure and one by The Last Goodnight. The show has made some more inferences to music in their titles this season, though not so many yet that we could compare them to “True Blood” (who really is the master of song-related episode titles at this point).

My daughter and granddaughters are looking forward to the Originals…with Klaus being the star. We will no longer have to hope we get to see him on VD’s. I love when I read anything about a crossover. That means salvation for both shows. I have watched all the soaps throughout the years, and many other weekly shows, but I have never seen anything yet like you are planning for the VD’s. Hopefully, they will be on different nights, and we will be able to kinda catch up on the other show.

I have to say, I agree, this is the most anticipated TV show EVER! Especially for me! A movie yes, but never a TV show! The writers have to be stoked about The Originals! Everyone seems to be on board with it! And Joseph Morgan totally deserves this honor of having his own show!
Well, as far as opinions go on how I think The Originals leave Mystic Falls…. I’ve read some of Julie’s tweets & interviews. We all know that Klaus hears of a plot against him so just going off those statements, I feel that Klaus does something that makes him regretful and will spiral of out control, maybe he transforms into a werewolf and hurts/kills someone!
Maybe Silas has a big part in why he heads to NOLA. Julie said he’d be shirtless, diseased, & unhealthy/sick. Diseased can mean many things such as twisted or unsound. So he probably ends up in NOLA and then, the pilot to The Originals is set!
I also read that Elijah teams up with Marcel to help Klaus redeem himself. So it will be exciting to see how all that comes into play! I for one am ready and I am going to label myself to be a 100% #Original Groupie!!!!
