‘Survivor Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites’ preview: Sherri vs. Eddie
It’s interesting that for the first time ever since “Survivor Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites” really started, we have a preview video that really focuses entirely on the Fans tribe. These are the dysfunctional people that we have seen the most of for the past few weeks, and they also happen to be the ones that are in the biggest trouble. The most important thing for this tribe to be doing right now is trying to stay strong; and instead, they’re falling apart.
While Sherri Biethman may think that she is playing a good game for herself in the long-term right now, it actually feels like what she is doing is giving herself less of a chance to succeed after the merge. Why? She’s keeping a guy around in Shamar who nobody likes, and is disrupting tribe unity to the point where it completely takes away any sort of physical advantage he brings to the challenges. Considering that Eddie and Reynold are both physical threats, we can’t see the Fans voting them out if they lose another challenge … even if they are the only two on the outside of the alliance.
Whatever does happen next week does seem to lead to conflict: as you can see in the clip below, Sherri and Eddie go at it, thus making for the first major Fans fight that Shamar is not a key player with. To make matters worse, a massive storm is hitting the camp, and if you thought that military vet wanted to quit before, he probably really wants to quit now. To make matters worse, this also increases the odds that someone gets sick out there due to cold temperatures or starvation.
Do you think now is the time for Sherri to cut the cord with Shamar, and is there any hope left for the Fans? If you want to check out our interview with the recently-eliminated Hope Driskill, you can do so over here.
