ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2, episode 15 preview: Emily Thorne’s fire re-lit

For whatever reason, the producers over at ABC are making us wait a very long time to catch the continuation of “Revenge” season 2. How long? Let’s just say that it will be March 10 before you have an opportunity to see just what the next move for Emily Thorne is going to be following the death of Amanda Clarke.

While the first promo for “Retribution” below shows that Jack is still on the verge of losing his life in the hospital, we still feel pretty confident that he is going to pull through. As for the dearly departed, meanwhile, the Grayson family is going to be in attendance for her funeral service (which is by and large the equivalent of them spitting on her grave after what they did to bring about this fate).

The death of Amanda, more than anything else, is going to reinvigorate the real Amanda Clarke into getting just what she wants over those who have wrong her: vengeance. Emily Thorne’s fire will burn brighter than ever this week, and her first step straight out of the gate seems to be going after some of the people Victoria Grayson seems to cherish the most, including her daughter Charlotte. To us, this seems like an interesting choice given that she is not a bad person in many ways, but perhaps Emily is going to try and use her own disdain for her mother to turn her against her, and thus creating a pretty stunning turn of events.
