Kate Gosselin, Kendra Wilkinson return to TV for ‘Celebrity Wife Swap’
Just in case you have been missing either Kate Gosselin or Kendra Wilkinson on TV as of late, we have some news for you: both of these famous reality-show moms are going to be back in the very near future … and in each other’s lives.
ABC announced on Thursday that the former “Jon and Kate Plus 8” star, who pretty much took the entertainment world by storm back in 2009 courtesy of her very high-profile divorce from Jon, is going to be taking part in “Celebrity Wife Swap” this coming season alongside the former “Girls Next Door” star. There are a couple of reasons that this is interesting from the get-go, with the primary one being that this will mark the first time that Kate’s famous eight children have appeared in any substantial fashion since the end of her TLC series “Kate Plus 8” well over a year ago. For those longtime fans, this could be a treat.
With that being said, we’re sure to see some major culture clash here. Kendra is will known for some of her past with Hugh Hefner, whereas Kate has always prided herself on being very conservative when it comes to what she allows herself or her children to do. She’s also a single mom trying to raise eight children; meanwhile, Kendra has a husband in Hank Baskett along with only one child. This show provides both stars with a way to stay in the spotlight, but we still cannot help but feel like it is really Kendra who is getting the more challenging task here.
What do you think: are you actually excited to see Kate and Kendra back on your TV? If you want to see Kate’s most-recent TV appearance from last fall, you can do so over here. The new season of “Celebrity Wife Swap” kicks off a week from Tuesday on ABC.
