‘The Walking Dead’ season 3 spoilers: Expect love and death

“The Walking Dead” is now only two days away from returning to AMC, and based on what we’re hearing now, it is safe to say that you should be pretty geared up for quite a sequence of events.

At this point, some of the following news from producer Gale Ann Hurd to E! News should be expected: there are few other shows on TV that are quite so violent, and when you are talking about zombies taking over the world, it is pretty safe to say that there is going to be some shocking deaths that transpire. However, we are a little intrigued by the fact that there could be a little bit more love in the air now beyond just Glenn and Maggie:

“There are a lot of humans in serious jeopardy. There’s a lot of betrayal. There’s a little love. There’s a lot of zombie action. And then we get to say goodbye sadly to a few more people.”

So who could the new lovebirds be? The comics do give us a few possible pairings, but it should be pretty clear by now that this is not a show like “Game of Thrones” where they are desperate to adhere to the source material at just about every turn. We also do not believe that anyone, save for maybe Rick, is really safe from whatever sort of carnage comes their way; but with that being said, how devastating would it be if we were to see Glenn and Maggie somehow lose their lives before the end of the show?
