‘Dexter’ season 8: Jennifer Carpenter prepares for production
Filming on “Dexter” season 8 is set to begin very soon (as in the next month), so the following news is certainly welcome: some of the series’ stars are already taking the first meetings to get prepared, even though they have had a little less time off than usual thanks in part to Showtime’s decision to order a season for the summer rather than for fall.
In a new post on Twitter, Jennifer Carpenter was very happy to announce the following news that gives any fan looking for good scoop a serious reason to smile:
“HERE. WE. GO!!!!!!!! Going to production offices for meetings on season 8 today! I’m SOOOO excited!!!”
In addition to that, Carpenter also suggested that there may be some serious scoop on the new season coming up for anyone who purchases the season 7 DVD, which will probably come out at some point this spring to coincide with the show’s new release date:
“I just did commentary for the last episode of season 7. I feel like I may have revealed too much. Nothing I can do about it now though…”
Even though we have heard of some new castings for this season, including a criminologist and a private investigator, Showtime and the producers have somehow done a very good job thus far of keeping the actual story for the season under wraps. Therefore, we do not know just how badly Carpenter’s Debra Morgan is going to react to killing LaGuerta in the long-term. She now has a deeper connection with her brother than she has ever had, but it is also one that we are not quite sure that she ever wanted.
Do you have any specific requests as to where you want to see Deb end up this season? If you do want to know more information on when filming on “Dexter” season 8 will begin, you can find out by visiting the story over at the link here.
