‘Suits’ season 2, episode 13 preview: Rachel vs. her own father
“Suits” fans, brace yourselves: things are about to get a little bit messy in the world of Pearson Hardman. On next week’s new episode of the hit USA drama, we will be seeing a showdown quite unlike any we have seen so far … mostly because family is involved.
While we could describe the events of this episode ourselves, why not let the network give you the official lowdown on what is going to be coming up instead? As you would expect with a title like “The Strong Survive,” this is going to be a rather tense episode to watch … especially when a secret about Rachel is revealed that Mike and a number of other people did not previously know:
“Harvey (Gabriel Macht) goes head to head against Robert Zane, Rachel’s (Meghan Markle) father, on a gender discrimination case that forces Rachel to confront her complicated relationship with her Dad.”
So why did Rachel choose to be so secretive about who her father really was to many of her own co-workers? Our answer to this is rather simple: she obviously did not want to be judged based on her father’s history, and wanted to create something special of her own.
The biggest disappointment that comes from the promo below for this episode is the complete lack of Louis Litt within it, mostly because he provided such wonderful back-and-forth with Harvey this past episode. We know that there was at one point a mutual respect there even if they were not the best of friends, and we are curious over time to see more backstory between the two parties.
What do you want to see happen between Rachel and her dad? If you want to take a look back at this past “Suits” episode, be sure to head over to the link here in order to read our full review.
