‘Girls’ season 2, episode 2 preview: Who wants to bathe a pig?

We have seen some pretty strange conversations take place on “Girls” over the past year, but watching Shoshanna and Ray debate over bathing a pig has to be one of the weirdest. If you love the couple, we have a feeling that this is the sort of thing that you are probably going to embrace and / or talk about excitedly with your friends. If you hate them together, you’re probably going to groan.

The truth is that this was a rather strange clip for HBO to release in order to promote the show. After all, there is literally nothing in here that has anything to do with the actual story. All we can really take from this is that both Shoshanna and Ray are doing pretty well in their relationship at the moment, and are not in any shape or form in that rather strange and paranoid place that we saw them in during last week’s premiere.

As for what else that we know you will be seeing here, expect once again for Hannah’s new boyfriend Sandy (Donald Glover) to play an important role; after all, we anticipate the two having some sort of scenes together still, and eventually, there is probably going to be some sort of conflict over the fact that Hannah is very much attached still to her needy ex in Adam (who continues to be as grade-A bizarre as ever). Meanwhile, Marnie is going to continue to adapt to life without a job, and watching her go through the interview process should serve as some pretty nice contrast to watching how Hannah went through this last year.
