‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6, episode 12 preview: Can Raj find love?

Just one week after we published a piece talking about how one of the biggest issues with “The Big Bang Theory” is the continued marginalization of Raj when it comes to his love life, we are starting to get some hints that we may actually be on the road at the moment to the character finding love. Of course, in order for him to do that, he has to find a way to talk to her first.

The woman in question here seems to be Margo Harshman’s Alex, who has created some pretty interesting problems for many of the other characters. First, her interest in Leonard has created all sorts of tension between him and Penny, especially since he appreciates the attention so much that he really does not seem altogether willing to do anything about it. Unfortunately, Sheldon’s attempts to lend a helping hand land him front and center at human resources over some comments that could be best described as inappropriate. (Considering Alex’s hero worship of Sheldon, we’re honestly surprised that she had the guts to actually speak to HR to begin with.)

Somehow, it doesn’t seem like any of this is keeping Raj from being interested in her; then again, this is a man who remained infatuated with Bernadette even after Howard was in a relationship with her. We would be on board with Raj and Alex as a couple; while we have not seen them have much an opportunity to develop chemistry, one thing that they do already have going for them is that they both love science … and they’re really the only characters at the moment who could be major candidates for a relationship unless you find a way to throw Stuart in there.
