‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’: Go behind the scenes with Ryan Seacrest

Want yet another look at the 2012 edition of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest”? Well, we are not going to have an opportunity to do just that courtesy of the man whose name is at the end of the show’s title. The “American Idol” host has been navigating the streets of Times Square for years now helping to celebrate the famous ball dropping, and now he has given some of us non-New Yorkers a chance to see just what sort of preparation goes into making this show 24 hours prior.

As you can see in the video attached to this article, the day before New Year’s Eve is still chaotic in downtown Manhattan, as there are still countless people lined up and the party (at least for many) has already begun. Seacrest points out some of the production team who is working hard to make the show a success, and this includes his co-host for the evening in Jenny McCarthy, who he also jokes about in the context of her kissing antics at midnight on the show over the years.

As mentioned here previously, there are going to be a slew of performers present for the show, including the likes of Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber. Fergie is going to be hosting the edition of the show on the west coast, and she will be joined by a hit-making artist in Pitbull.
