‘Justified’ season 4 spoilers: Preview the first two episodes!
Thus far, trying to find out many spoilers about “Justified” season 4 has been a near-impossible task. After all, you are talking about a show here that is notoriously kept under a heavy lock and key, and we are still over a week out from its January 8 return to television.
However, we do still have some very welcome news to share now about the opening two episodes of the season: the official synopses coming in courtesy of FX. There is still not too much given away, but it is nice to see that showrunner Graham Yost took the reigns himself of penning the premiere episode.
Episode 4.01, “Hole in the Wall” – While running down a vicious fugitive, Raylan finds evidence his family is at the center of a legendary unsolved mystery. Written by Graham Yost: Directed by Michael Dinner.
Episode, 4.02, “Where’s Waldo?” – As Raylan tangles with a dangerous family keeping a dark secret, Boyd takes on a snake-handling preacher. Written by Dave Andron: Directed by Bill Johnson.
The expectations for “Justified” season 4 are as high as they have always been, especially since this is the time that many shows of this nature hit their stride. “Dexter,” “Mad Men,” and “Breaking Bad” are three such examples of scripted dramas that managed to hit some sort of creative high with their fourth season, and they all came into the episodes with the same sort of lofty goals that Timothy Olymphant and company have here.
What do you think about the first two episodes thus far, and do you have any specific goals for what you want to see on the show moving forward? Be sure to share your thoughts below, and you can read some more “Justified” season 4 casting news over at the link here.

More shirtless Raylan, more Marshal office wise-assery, and maybe a baby Crowder for baby Givens to play cops-and-robbers with…
