‘Revenge,’ ‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 shown off in new ABC clip (video)

ABC has an interesting strategy that is being revealed in their latest promotional clip for their Sunday-night lineup: continue to praise “Once Upon a Time” and “Revenge,” and help you to forget that the network is even airing anything at all at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time. (In truth, the network is going to try out episodes of “Happy Endings” and “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23” there beginning early on in the new year.)

For those of you looking for some sort of huge spoilers on either show here, you’re probably going to leave feeling rather disappointed. Most of this footage we have already seen in other clips, but there is specifically a few cool flashback scenes from the fairytale drama mixed in here as Snow White and Prince Charming try to do what they can to kill the Evil Queen. Meanwhile, Emily and Victoria are once again plotting something that preys on Emily’s own past with the Grayson family matriarch’s son Daniel.

In case you are looking for something that is a tad more spoilery regarding the two shows, here is what we can tell you. “Once Upon a Time” season 2 will pick up on January 6 with Captain Hook and Cora arriving in Storybrooke, and they are going to have an interesting way of making their presence felt that is rather surprising. Meanwhile, Emily is going to waste no time at all on “Revenge” trying to find more ways to avenge her father’s death, though we hope it is a little bit more clear-cut than the jumbled mess that was the first half of this season.
