‘Girls’ season 2 spoilers: Surprises in early episodes

Want to know what’s coming up on “Girls” season 2? Well, the January 13 premiere is still a matter of over two weeks away, but we do at least have a few welcome details to share now of some of the events that are going to be rocking the lives of Hannah and company.

Let’s start with the largest shocker that is coming to us courtesy of E! News: a pair of characters are going to be hooking up, and in turn this could end up rocking a friendship to its core. This is truly bad news for those hoping that most of the conflict in the new season would be strictly related to romance, as friendships are going to be thrown into the mess to go along with it. As for if it involves Hannah, Marnie, or someone else … we’re better off leaving the finer specifics a mystery for the time being.

Oh, and to make matters even more interesting, a memorable character is also going to be arrested within the first four episodes. Who is it? Once again, our lips are sealed on that subject … but it may be best to not just assume the obvious. Lena Dunham knows that she has to step things up after the massive hype (and awards-show buzz) that came following her first season, and she has to find a way to keep the honesty of her show intact while still creating some more storylines that will leave viewers with their jaws on the floor.
