‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Chord Overstreet teases ‘ridiculous’ number with the boys
Do you love it when “Glee” tries to fashion some of their characters as being a part of the next great boy band? Last year, we saw a One Direction number at prom that produced many a swoon from the viewing public; and while we do not know just yet what some of the guys are performing this time around, the initial tease from Chord Overstreet suggests that it will be plenty of fun.
Writing as a part of a new post on his official Twitter account, the actor proclaimed that he and a number of his other co-stars have just wrapped up something featuring some other current members of New Directions that people are sure to smile at:
“This number gonna be ridiculous! Can’t wait to see it! Love these group boy numbers w@jacobartist @Blake_Jenner @SamuelLarsen @DarrenCriss”
In going beyond the actual tease of this performance, one of the other things that sounds so great about what Sam is saying here is that it reaffirms that the show seems to have no desire to let go of Blake Jenner anytime soon, even though the season 2 champ of “The Glee Project” was only guaranteed a seven-episode arc. Thus far, the actors have found better things for him to do than either Samuel Larsen or Damian McGinty, who has been reduced this year to just a one-episode cameo during the Christmas special last week.
Could this performance be a part of the “Naked” episode? It is surely possible, given that executive producer Ryan Murphy recently tweeted out a photo of a shirtless Darren Criss. Luckily, we’ll find out when the show returns for new episodes next month.
What do you want to see these boys singing on the show moving forward? If you want to read up on what Naya Rivera has been doing during her time away, you can do so over at the link here.
