‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ episode 7 review: Cynthia and Peter renew their vows
After Kenya Moore’s completely inappropriate question to Phaedra Parks last week, asking her which two friends she would give to Apollo as a birthday gift ,we knew that there would be some serious tension this week – and we weren’t disappointed. Kenya realized that she had crossed the line with that comment and apologized to Phaedra, but the rest of the women were already all over Kenya, and questioning her relationship with Walter. All of the women were left in agreement that there’s something fishy about her romance with Walter.
When Peter is alone with the guys, he tells them his plans to surprise Cynthia with a wedding ceremony to renew his vows with his wife. He says that he’s going to mask the wedding ceremony as an all-white dressed party. Walter takes Kenya away from the group and she thinks he’s going to propose, but instead he tells her of Peter’s plan to renew his vows with Cynthia.
The next day while the ladies are having a spa day, Kenya reveals that she and Walter might elope and NeNe calls her out on it saying that they don’t look like much of a couple to her. Kenya defends her relationship with Walter and NeNe tries to say that she’s not being negative, just that things aren’t adding up for her.
As the group travels to the all white party, Cynthia is clueless about the wedding vow renewal until she arrives at the event. The wedding is beautiful and Peter gets choked up while telling her how much he loves her. When Cynthia throws the bouquet at the end of the ceremony NeNe catches it – What does this mean for NeNe and Gregg?
Later the girls are sitting around in their PJ’s when Porsha brings up the fact that she thinks Kenya is acting very different on this trip as opposed to when they had their fight at the charity event. Porsha asks Kenya to tell her side of the story and instead Kenya gets defensive and the ladies get into a heated argument. The other housewives jump in to diffuse the situation, but the damage is already done, leaving everyone feeling tense.
Do you think that Kenya and Walter’s relationship is solid or do you think there is trouble in paradise? And what about Kenya’s flirting with other men in front of Walter – inappropriate or just playful fun? Leave a comment and tell us what you think.
