‘Royal Pains’ season 4 spoilers: What to expect from the wedding special
We’ve already given you a few details about the upcoming wedding-themed two-hour “Royal Pains” special on Sunday night, and now we have a few more in order to better tide you over until the episode actually airs. There is going to be quite a bit that unfolds, and with that in mind, there is really quite a bit worth being excited about.
One detail we left out of the previous article is that while there are two important characters returning to the show (in Jill Flint and a man who fans of the show are going to remember very well from this season), there is also going to be someone else who is surprisingly an omission to the episode given how much they have been around as of late. Their absence is explained deep into the episode, but by that time you are probably going to be wondering where in the world they have been. (We would have much preferred seeing them around personally.)
As for matters more directly pertaining to the Lawson family, Henry Winkler will of course be around as Hank’s father for the special, but once again he is going to be causing trouble when he really doesn’t need to. Once you find out the reason for his latest bout of stirring the pot, though, you will realize that he is desperately trying to make up for something that he really feels that his family lacks in comparison to Paige’s.
One final detail we will share? That a shocking amount of time is spent coming up on a character who we’ve never really known before, but their story actually plays an important part in the overall history behind why HankMed exists today. It’s a fun two hours of television overall, and anyone who loves “Royal Pains” is sure to be happy with it.
