‘Dexter’ season 7 finale spoilers: Michael C. Hall talks potential cliffhanger
“Dexter” has become known for quite a few things over the course of its lengthy run on TV, but one of them is always managing to find a way to end a season with at least a few major surprises. Just take season 4 with the death of Rita, the departure of Lumen in season 5, or of course Deb learning the truth about her brother last year.
So could we see something similar to close off the newest season of the show? Based off of what Michael C. Hall is saying now, the answer could certainly be yes with Sunday night’s finale. Speaking as a part of a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor explains that there will not only be something left open for our serial killer, but that there will be a number of loose ends that manage to be tied up moving forward into the show’s currently-projected final season:
“The finale will certainly end with a cliffhanger in as much as we all wonder what’s in store and how Dexter and other characters will respond to what transpires but some pretty definitive things happen as well. It’s a doozy.”
From our standpoint, there are really a few mysteries that stand out above all the rest:
1. Will Dexter be arrested?
2. Will Maria LaGuerta survive what could be an attempt on her life?
3. Will Hannah McKay find a way to get out of her current predicament?
Of course, there are still plenty of other questions that could be asked right now, though we of course do not have answers to all of them.
