‘Hart of Dixie’ season 2, episode 11 preview: Wade calls Zoe his “girlfriend”

After last night’s totally depressing episode of “Hart of Dixie” season 2, we can only hope that the next new episode called “Old Alabama” will bring a smile to our faces. (Warning: Spoilers ahead).

No one seemed to really get what they wanted for Christmas in Bluebell last night. Lavon wanted to make Ruby’s last week with him very special and even planned on proposing, but after Lemon spitefully told Ruby that she was not the only woman that Lavon has ever loved and that he loved her at one point as well, Ruby stormed off to find Lavon and find out why he kept that a secret from her.  Lavon tried to tell her that it didn’t matter anymore that’s why he didn’t bring it up and then he proposed to her.  Ruby not only walked away from Lavon’s proposal, but she also broke the entire relationship off.  Lavon went to Lemon’s place and told her that he will never forgive her for what she did to his relationship with Ruby.  The only person that seemed to have a really great Christmas was Wade and Zoe of all people.  Zoe realized that she was pushing Wade away for no reason and asked for a second chance with him and he happily embraced the opportunity.

With new episodes of “Hart of Dixie” being off the air until the new year we wanted to leave fans with something to be excited about instead of worrying about poor Lavon and his broken heart.  A new promo of the next new episode called “Old Alabama” (which you can watch below) has surfaced and in it we hear Wade call Zoe his girlfriend for the first time, which makes us all smile. Another person who is smiling in the new promo is Lavon, which is nice to see after his disastrous proposal – does this mean that Ruby has found a way to make things work with Lavon?

Brand new episodes of “Hart of Dixie” season 2 will return to the CW on Tuesday, January 15th, but in the meantime be sure to check back here regularly for spoilers and updates.
