‘Private Practice’ season 6 spoilers: Trouble with Charlotte’s triplets?

Oh, the craziness that is ABC and their scheduling department at the moment. If you are a fan of “Private Practice,” you have to just be grateful that the network is really allowing you to see the conclusion of the show at all given some of the terrible ratings that it is pulling at the moment. However, it’s still frustrating to have two new episodes air back to back in the days leading up to Thanksgiving, only to then see the show gone for almost a full two weeks.

So what is with the preemption on Tuesday? Basically, ABC is airing holiday specials at 8:00, and pushing back all of their low-rated shows at 9 so that they can air a two-hour finale for “Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars.” Thanks to this, it’ll be early December when we see Addison and company return to TV … but it is going to be a very emotional return.

As you can see in the video below, we are going to be jumping ahead in time a little bit to focus on Charlotte giving birth to her triplets, but not everything is going to go according to plan here at all. As a matter of fact, there are going to be some reasons to wonder if these children are going to survive at all. Given that this is a Shonda Rhimes show, we already are prepared for the possibility of seeing death on a pretty large scale. But with that being said, couldn’t we at least have some sort of reprieve for the sake of the newborn children, if nothing else? Plus, we’re not that far past some other deaths both on this show and “Grey’s Anatomy.”

Do you think all of Charlotte’s children are going to survive?
