‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 spoilers: An episode all about Meghan Ory’s Red
We know how excited many “Once Upon a Time” fans were when they first heard the news that Meghan Ory was going to be a series regular for season 2 as Red / Ruby, but to this point, the beloved fairy-tale character really has not had too much to do save for helping out various people such as David and most recently Belle.
Luckily for us, that is going to be changing with the seventh episode of the season entitled “Child of the Moon.” Unfortunately for Red, this does not necessarily mean that the story coming her way is going to put her in a lovely position when it comes to some of her other residents in Storybrooke. As a matter of fact, a good many of them may end up fearing her very existence instead based on the official press release from ABC:
“Ruby’s fear about turning into a wolf during the first curse-free Storybrooke full moon is confirmed when one of the town’s residents is viciously murdered, and Ruby is the prime suspect; Decker – aka King George –threatens to expose David as a shepherd, not a prince, and not fit to run the town as sheriff; and Leroy stumbles upon some treasure in the Storybrooke mine that could help bring Mary Margaret and Emma back into our world. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Red Riding Hood finds a kindred spirit in Anita (Annabeth Gish), a charismatic and mysterious leader of a pack of humans who, like Red, turn out to be wolves.”
The other major thing we get out of this press release is that the reunion for the Charming family is not going to be happening for a while, especially if Leroy is still trying to find a way to bring her back. (On a separate note, petition for Lee Arenberg to get a promotion next season.) As for David being “exposed” as a shepherd, we do not really think that these are the sort of people are going to care if David does not have royal blood, at least so long as he is doing a good job at work.
Are you ready for a Ruby-centric episode on the show?
