‘The X Factor’ USA spoilers: Are Emblem3, Jillian Jensen in top 16?
Even though “The X Factor” was cut off on Wednesday night in what was quite possibly one of the most ridiculous decisions ever made by Fox, there is some good news for those of you who are incredibly impatient: thanks to CTV north of the border, we now know some more of the top 16 who is going to be performing during the live shows when the show does return for more in November.
Of course, do realize that this list does contain spoilers for those of you who do actually want to find out what happens live when Fox airs the rest of the reveal on Tuesday night … and there are some surprises sure to send some fans into a tailspin.
The remaining members of Demi Lovato’s Young Adults team who are making it through to the live shows are none other than Paige Thomas, who was pretty dominant on the show since she first turned up for her first audition in September, and the controversial CeCe Frey, who showed up without the signature leopard print all over her face. The shocking move made here was that this came at the expense of one of the show’s most-moving contenders in Jillian Jensen, who Lovato even rushed up on stage to hug after her first audition. We are stunned in part by this move, but we do believe that CeCe is enormously talented, and may just in part be a victim of some bad editing that has made her into a villain of sorts just because she is confident about herself.
As for Simon Cowell’s groups, there really aren’t any surprises as band Emblem3 and the sensational Lyric 145 were each sent on to the live shows. Then, CTV also did the inexplicable and switched back to baseball. With Dope Crisis out of the running, this means that we are left with Sister C and Simon’s newly-formed boy band and girl group … and only two of them will advance.
What do you think about some of these advancing acts?

Jillian did not deserve a spot. She didn’t show diversity. I feel if she would of sung 1 fast song song she could of made it

I already posted once and saw another person talking why didn’t Page didn’t kick out instead of Jullian. I was wondering the same. Page was not good, but tryied to look good with her Rihanna look. I could not believe Page is still there. Thanks Jonas for excellent judging skills “she looks sexy.” Some Judge? What are you judging? Wow I call a foul on this call.

October 24, 2012 @ 11:32 am
Like the rest I loved Jullian. Only reason I started watching the X Faxtor. I don’t know any of the contestants but I loved Jullian, can’t explain why but I just do. I waited to hear her sing again and now she is gone before the viewers can judge. What a big let down. Simon get Jillian back please. I said “please.”

I’m happy Jillian didn’t make it. I think x factor is not for her. She would do great on the voice or American idol. I respect demies choice, She just wants to find someone to entertain and not stand in one spot all the time

Regardless of her story, Jillian Jensen is real talent. She could have won the whole thing. I’m so angry. That Ce Ce chick is an idiot

shocking!! ce ce and paige both suck..neither deserved to go through. demi said it all when she said x factor isnt just about talent….OBVIOUSLY..jillian has more talent in her pinky toe than either of those other girls. still pulling for the hometown boy tho…GO WILLIE!!!!!!

“CeCe is very fond of herself and cares about no one. Sorry mistake you all made. But your decision and you will live with it. Be for real, Jillian put everything she had into her performances. I knew the show was rigged. Same thing last year. Ms. CeCe sucks. Yea, she does.

I knew Demi was going to cut Jillian when she threw her head back and mocked Jillain’s laugh and said it was not believeable. This was after Nick Jonas said Jillain was kind of sexy. I thought that was sooo mean and is probably the sort of things that the people who bullied Jillian did to her. Demi is anti-bullying and says she was bullied and then bullys a bullying victim….ironic.

All I can say is “WOW!”. I thought Demi was smarter than this. What were you thinking?! You chose Paige Thomas over Jillian? It was obvious that at bootcamp leopard girl Cece outsung Paige and you still put her through? Paige is okay but not better than Jillian! This is BS. Maybe Demi is just a hater cuz Nick Jonas said Jillian is “sexy”. LOL I’m now an “EX” Xfactor viewer. Sorry.

Big mistake producers and demi. U just lost almost half ur fanbase and ratings. By sending home a talent and a story that give ppl a reason to cheer and support. Just look at chris rene last season. Didnt win but he has more success than anyone from last season. Cuz he was one ppl rooted fpr and followed!!!!

Omg calm down she didn’t die haha. She’s a good singer but maybe not what the show is looking for. I think Jillian would do better on American idol cuse she’s someone people can look up to. And Cece will do better on here cuse the x factor is about entertainment and she has it

Ce Ce should have been gone by now. This show is a joke. Jillian was really good and an inspiration. No wonder the shows ratings are way down. After the stupid move of keeping CeCe and getting rid of Jillian I would be real surprised if anyone is still watching it. Demi and Brittany have not been a good mix for the show. I am done with it. Simon has made an idiot of himself!

October 19, 2012 @ 5:17 pm
At this point in the show, the judges are looking for the person(s) they think can win the whole thing. Julian has a very unique voice, is one of the few passionate ones and is already one of the fans favorite. This is either made for TV drama or just a horrible decision. I’m guessing made for TV drama as most reality TV show has to have it’s scripted drama. Either way after this Fox scheduling joke and finding this info out. I too am done with X Factor. Wildcard or not! I’m feeling robbed of the hours I already spent watching it.
Wayne
October 19, 2012 @ 10:28 am
While I am a fan of Jillian’s unique voice, I am withholding any judgement on Demi. She could have been afraid to be accused of bias towards a contestant she bonded with. Another possibility is that the UK X Factor has the 4 judges choose a contestant for a wildcard and these 4 compete for a single wildcard spot. Demi may have made a strategy move to make Jillian her wildcard pick.

That is such ashame. I really enjoyed watching this show but now. It is pointless. It had nothing to do with jillian’s story. She is an awesome singer. BRING HER BACK!!!

October 19, 2012 @ 9:44 am
I can’t believe it this is one of the worst mistakes everrr!!!!!! If they don’t get her back on then I’m done with this show I was only watching it for Demi but then Jillian came on and I can relate to her so she became one of my favorite idols but now I’m speachless Cece dosen’t know crap about how to sing she suckss!!!! She’s wayyy to cocky and cofident and shes just not likeable. But Jillian has the whole package why destroy an actual genuine future star? Maybe Demi got jealous I honestly don’t know what would make her do such a stupid thing like I love Demi with all my heart but seriously even I have more talent then Cece or Willie like seriously? I’m soo freaking mad I can’t believe thiss!!!!!!!!):

I hope you guys know that this is THE exact same situation as last year with melanie amaro. Even though she clearly had the best auditions, they sent her home to make it “dramatic”. You guys are all forgetting that your watching a show that thrives on RATINGS. Hence the reason the whole world is going crazy, this is exactly what they wanted…………Their obviously brining her back, Their was still another 20 min left in the show before the last group was chosen…..So clearly somethings going down 100%..
WILLING TO MAKE a 100$ bet lol

October 19, 2012 @ 2:42 am
Bravo to Trex’s comment — my sentiments exactly! Jillian Jensen and Jeremy Gutt were two of the most shocking eliminations and should be reconsidered to return. I had no interest to watch the show last year but this year’s talent caught my attention…that is, until two people whom I thought would be finalists were booted off!
I thought Willie Jones would be in the bottom two of Demi’s team. During Boot Camp, he forgot the words to the song and should NOT have even moved on. It’s a BIG disappointment that Demi kept him over Jillian.
And I want to know why the judges didn’t choose Jeremy Gutt… give us some answers, Simon! Do you all just choose contestants who look good?

October 18, 2012 @ 11:13 pm
Demi screwed up and Simon needs to clean up her mess! Jillian has a unique voice. I don’t want to hear the same ol’ same ol’. CeCe has no distinct sound at all. She sounds like any number of good “Holiday Day Inn” singers you come across-She’s forgettable… all show. Her voice alone on the radio would also be forgettable whereas Jillian’s would stand out. If this is the best Demi can do, then she needs to go, too.

Jillian was the best. She was the girl I was cheering for the most. I do not know what Demi was thinking. I do not think Paige is mentally tough enough to be in the final 16. Simon, please put Jillian back on! How can you put the unlikable Puma girl, Ce-Ce on and cut perhaps the most likable person in Jillian out? This does not make sense at all. Demi has no clue what she is doing. She is 20-years-old and is way too young for this. What a disappointment.

October 18, 2012 @ 9:24 pm
Jillian Jensen, had a distinct rock voice. She was the main reason I was watching the show this year, and it really had nothing to do with her story. It was her voice. I am so tired of everyone swooning for cookie cutter nice vocals. I know that the other voices are good, but to me they are not distinctive. I love voices that are different, that couldnt be substitued in on every Whitney Houston song. Not to say those that could be are bad per say, but simply to say that they are a dime a dozen. Moments like this make me miss that far too easily forgotten show called “Rockstar”. It ran for two seasons for INXS and Supernova, and real tallented singers and musicians showed up. Why can’t the distictive voices like, Jillian Jensen’s get the credit they deserve. I refuse to live in a world of “one size fits all” music.

October 18, 2012 @ 8:58 pm
I agree with sending jillian home. she does have a good and different voice and i do feel bad for her, but this show is the x factor and its about finding a star that will sell, and i don’t really see Jillian being a huge star, i think she could get a career out of music but not a huge star, she is kinda boring on stage, nothing exciting to watch, which is that the x factor is
pissed off
October 18, 2012 @ 8:30 pm
Jillian Jensen should of never been put against CeCe in the final two. There is no way that CeCe can out sing Jillian. This is just like last year when Simon did not pick Melanie Amaro and she turned out to be the winner of it all. If the show is to be watched like last year they need to bring Jillian. If not I have to vote for LA team and Demi team can lose!
Isabella
October 18, 2012 @ 7:50 pm
Bull crap Jillian Jensen would’ve won the whole thing I am very ticked off! Worst decision ever made ! Paige should’ve gone
Michelle
October 18, 2012 @ 7:09 pm
Jillian should have been in there. Demi was probably harder on her b/c she did not want her on her team for the wrong reasons, but she clearly has the talent and was one of the best young adult auditioners rather she was bullied or not. She should have taken the place of both Willie or Paige.
Michelle
October 18, 2012 @ 7:05 pm
I think Jillian should have gotten chosen instead of both Willie or Paige. I think Demi may have been harder on her because she did not want to put her on her team for the wrong reasons but I clearly think she was one of the best auditioners. Maybe Demi can help her outside of the show since I am sure she has some connections to help her. It is still disappointing, though.

October 18, 2012 @ 4:54 pm
I can’t believe Jillian got sent home, she inspired so many people and related to so many young adults. She was one of the best contestants I have ever seen, I wish that she would have won the X Factor, this was a huge opportunity for her, and I hope she goes on and makes it big, and make her dreams come true! Many others deserved to stay on the show, and I know that the judges have been there and done that and I hope that the decisions that the judges have made are worth it! Team Jillian and I hope that through all the things that she has been through I hope all of her dreams come true!!

I’m shocked Jillian got booted. I think everyone in that group was talented, but she was so clearly top 3. Forget her story. She was an AWESOME musician. Really dumb move by Fox. If they were able to bring Melanie Amoro back last year, they HAVE to bring Jillian back this year.

Jillian was the best one on the entire show. I will never buy another Demi album. I’m done watching X-Factor. If Fox is stupid enough to let her go she will easily be signed elsewhere. And I’ll be in line to buy her album. She’s gold.

What people don’t realize is that Simon Cowell does not like rock music. He said no to Chris Daughtry’s first audition on American Idol. Now we have Jillian Jensen who has a rockstar quality voice and Jeff Gutt that was a rival to Chris Cornell in the vocal department, booted from the show.
Jillian can play 6 or 7 different instruments at a professional level. She has incredible voice control and actually has a passion for music. In her boot camp sing off, look in Jillians eyes when Lakisha starts singing. You can see she is feeling the music in her whole body. This is a gift.
X Factor is terribly biased. Jeff Gutt and Jillian Jensen were two of the best you had. Way to be transparent Simon. Good luck with One Direction that can only sing in One Direction. Pathetic. I’m done with this show.

I will no longer care to watch the show. Jillian is a pure singer- she deserves it and I think it is utter bullcrap- I will continue with the Voice.. sorry Simon.. but HUGE mistake .. BIG!
Oh wait.. or are you going to pull a Melanie and fly to Jillian’s home.. surprise her like the big hero and ask her to come back? I think the girl has been thru enough. Drama.. Drama.. Drama…

X factor USA can suck it! Jillian is better than all 4 acts that Simon has in the live shows! The controversy that this dumb assed decision has created is so transparent… Reality TV drama… I’ll own a recording of Jillian Jenson before I ever waste my time with anything Levato puts out! Watched my last episode of X Factor last night! Morality vs money, Demi just keep doing what you’re told – after all the show’s paying you a boat load of cash!!!

I was really looking forward to seeing Jillian on the live shows. I really believe Demi got her marching orders from producers to keep CeCe in because she acts like a b..ch. Gotta have drama on a “reality” show, right?
Frankly CeCe is a really just a good karaoki singer. Jillian is a more developed singer/songwriter/musician. I would not be surprised if this is just a trick for controversy ratings, as in: They’ll catch so much flak between now and next week that they decide to bring her back. (If not, I’m not all that interested following the show.) She’s actually more talented than some of the others they kept. We shall see…. Either way Jillian has the talent and dedication to make it in this business. Good luck to her.

Jillian was just plain annoying! Crying all the time while singing. I never heard her lyrics, only screaming and crying and opening her mouth wide! She has no confidence at all!!! I’m so glad Demi didn’t put her through, she definitely knows what she’s doing. Can’t wait for live shows

@just me, what you said makes no sense what so ever. Hate to break it to you but Jillian didn’t step up to the plate in terms of talent. This is a talent show. Not a sympathy show, and sometimes you have to make the hard decisions. Truth is that she’s not that good. She was mediocre at best.
Kristy
October 18, 2012 @ 2:19 am
I am not too surprised that Jillian is going home. CeCe is actually really really talented. Shes the most talented one, but she just showed an unsavoury attitude, but she showed a more vulnerable side later on, and we saw that beneath the haughty exterior, she is just as insecure and unsure as everybody else, so shes able to grow better personality-wise. and yes, jillian is talented, but everybody else in demi’s cateogry was also just as talented or more. I trust Demi’s judgement. it was a difficult decision to make, but Demi made her choices, and now we will have to bear with it. There are so many talented acts the judges put through. So think about what htey will bring to the table now. and as for jillian, its not really the end for her. there are always pathways for her to climb on.

BETWEEN THE STORY AND THE VOICE ,
ITS EASY TO SAY THAT SHE GOT THROUGH TO ADVANCING STAGES BECAUSE

Jillian Jensen booted out is such a weird decision. Cece is strange and will get booted our early in the live show competition might as well have booted her out at judge’s house. Re-instate Jensen – her audition was the most watched on Youtube – the point is to get more viewers right?

Willie Jones is just weird and should not have gone through and a very mediocre singer. Jennell Garcia and CeCe are very talented as is Paige Thomas and Jillian Jensen should have been in Demi’s final 4 as well. I predict that Jillian will have offers outside of The X-Factor and have a career much like Chris Daughtry because she absolutely deserves it . It’s very odd that Demi sent her home. Not surprised that the lame rapper guy went home because he sucked and should not have even made it to the judge’s houses auditions.

Demi have you lost your mind booting Jilian Jensen off;it almost feels like FOX and you are is still bulling this poor girl by choising her male teamate with that freeky country voice over her.Girlfriend I guarantee you if FOX does not re-enstate her that you will be a one season judge just like Nicole S with her gaff with that cute African American young girl contestant.
