NCIS season 15 episode 9 spoilers: Thanksgiving and a McGee – Delilah baby

NCIS season 15 episode 9 is going to be the show’s Thanksgiving episode, and as it turns out, McGee  and Delilah will have a lot to be thankful for! “Ready or Not” is the episode of the show that may feature him and Delilah welcoming their baby into the world (and into their family!) — it’s certainly going to make them remember this holiday even more than they would otherwise.

“Ready or Not” – The team’s Thanksgiving plans are put on hold while they track an elusive international arms dealer in D.C. who recently murdered an MI6 officer who was Sloane’s close friend. Also, Abby races Delilah (Margo Harshman) to the hospital when her labor starts three weeks early, on NCIS, Tuesday, Nov. 21 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

This episode will be fun at times, but also probably emotional at others. While we like Delilah and we’ve enjoyed seeing the character, at the same time this is a huge culmination for the McGee character. Sean Murray has been around in one capacity or another since the very first season of the show. We’ve seen him go through many highs and lows and now we are so excited to see him get to the point where he is ready to be a father. We can’t wait to see what’s going to happen as a result of this and what happens next in his life. What will Tim look like as a father? That should be fun!

As for the Sloane story…

This episode could be one of the best opportunities to learn about Maria Bello’s character. We’ve gotten little teases about Sloane since her debut earlier this season, but we’ve been waiting for an opportunity to dive into some of the meatier stuff. This episode should offer up a prime chance to understand who she is as a profiler, and also how she reacts when the chips are down.

On a side note, what is it about terrible things happening to people who are close friends of our main characters? Remember what happened to Reeves’ friend earlier this season? If we were in this fictional Washington DC world we’re not altogether sure that we would make friends with any of these people. Doesn’t really seem to be worth what happens to them, does it?
