Bachelor in Paradise 4: Dean Unglert comments on Kristina Schulman exit
Or … is it? How much more is there to say about this? We figure that this is going to be a big topic during the upcoming reunion show, and Dean seems to be already preparing for what audiences are going to see there by posting an image on Instagram alongside the caption of “you were out of my league.” Dean seems to be at least aware that he’s far from the most popular guy this season, especially compared to who he was back on Rachel Lindsay’s edition of The Bachelorette. It’s actually a little unusual for a favorite to lose their popular status so quickly, but it’s happened here.
Is there a way that Dean can turn the public opinion on him around? It’s going to be tough, but we’d argue that one of the best things that he can do now is just eat an enormous slice of humble pie and realize that there’s no other way that he’s going to be able to move forward here. Kristina, meanwhile, finds herself in a position where she’s very popular in Bachelor Nation for two separate seasons running, even though she never found her dream guy in the end. We do think that if she wants to do Bachelor in Paradise next year, there is going to be a great chance for that to happen. Maybe she’s also an under-the-radar choice for The Bachelorette, but it’s probably a little too early to say for sure.
As for the future of Dean and D-Lo, we figure that this is something that is going to be a major part of the storyline on Tuesday night’s episode. Whatever happens here will carry over to the finale, where we know that there’s one engagement coming … but there could also be some other couples who are together.
