The Last Ship season 4 episode 3 spoilers: Strange new world

Following tonight’s two episodes, where will The Last Ship season 4 episode 3 go from here? Based on what we’re seeing, things could be getting strange. The title, after all, is “Bread and Circuses.” In some societies, the idea of this is probably both fun and/or occasionally delicious. Who doesn’t love bread? (We want bread now.)

Anyhow, a circus is probably not the sort of thing that you want to think about in an apocalypse where there is a famine and the majority of the human population is now gone. It’s a major thorn in your side since you want everything to be stable. for Tom Chandler and every person in the crew at the Nathan James, what they are realizing at the moment is that their lives are anything but. There are constant twists and turns and a prevailing sort of peril that is very much different than anything that they previously encountered. The good news moving into episode 3 is that Chandler isn’t in hiding anymore. Unfortunately, there are other problems and their search for answers (and a valuable item) is going to send them to a very unusual place.

With The Last Ship, we often do think that the word “ally” is a little bit loose given that it’s something that is often in flux. This is why the biggest piece of advice that we have for Chandler and company (not that we can really offer them any advice through the TV screen) is for them to watch their back and be careful. Know that every person out there may have their own set of motivations and could just be looking to screw you over — even if they at first give you a big ol’ smile and a promise to lend a helping hand. We’re only in the early days of this season at the moment. There’s plenty of time for stuff to still go awry.

Everyone is still looking for the seeds, and Tom is now working to find a way to find a way to take down Giorgio and who’s above him. All paths are going to eventually converge, and you’re eventually going to feel like it’s destiny that Chandler is there with the team.

For the record, this preview is actually for the remainder of the season as opposed to the next new episode alone.
