Big Brother 19 live feed spoilers: Who won HoH? Nominations (day 31)
We certainly knew that this would be a key HoH Competition given everything that happened in the episode. There is some upheaval in the game, and everyone wants to do what they can in order to establish themselves. One of the biggest problems when it comes to the season right now, though, is that there are so many people not used to winning anything. There are a TON of people who’ve been hiding behind Paul, though Alex and Jason have also fared pretty well as of late.
(Of course, everything is pretty dependent on what the competition is. That’s something that we’re excited to have some more news on soon.)
We’ll be updating this post later tonight with the winner (presumably after the West Coast airing of tonight’s episode) — we already know that Cody is returning after the Battle Back tonight. Yes, waiting that long does suck tremendously, but there is some merit for it from the show since they want to get some of those ratings.
Now, let’s get to the meat
There were reports online about the HoH winner before feeds came back up, but we wanted to wait for verification before reporting anything as fact. After Dark came back on at its normal time, and soon after that, it was revealed that Jessica has won power for the week! We’re going to come back tonight with a little bit more in the way of coverage (we do have actual nominations in a moment), but for the time being it does feel fairly safe to assume that when the dust settles, she’s going to use this power to look at getting Paul out of the house. Cody mentioned it on the show tonight, given that he knows that he’s one of the other alphas that is in there and the biggest threat to his game. Beyond that, though, we can see him wanting out Mark or Matt given that they are big physical threats, and people who most of the house would want to take out.
Also, we’d be worried if we were Christmas given that there is clearly not a whole lot of love lost there from back when Cody was HoH. These were our impressions before learning the actual nominations…
Nominations
Ramses and Josh are the two people on the block, but they’re probably just pawns given the fact that neither one of them is considered a big fish. We don’t think Jessica would be mad getting Josh out this week, but who’s really threatened by the guy?
The one thing that is troublesome for Cody and Jessica here is that if they want Paul out, we’re not sure he goes over one of these guys.
