Grey’s Anatomy season 14: Camilla Luddington teases fans on what’s next
In a new post on Twitter, the actress behind Jo Wilson did her best to tease the start of filming coming up this summer. There are going to be all sorts of drama ahead, especially when you consider for a moment everything that could happen based on the end of season 13. For example, Alex got in close proximity to Jo’s husband, but chose to do nothing rather than make a bold attempt to stand up for her, one that had the potential to blow up in her face in a pretty big way. He didn’t do anything, but we have to feel like there could be something more to this story.
Beyond that, we definitely don’t feel like things are over when it comes to Jo, Alex, and Andrew as a whole. One of the reasons why Andrew may have dropped the charges on Alex was to make things easier for Jo, but how will he react when he learns that she’s turning him down and potentially getting back with Alex? There’s nothing confirmed now, but we have to wait and see what’s next.
Beyond of course romance, there is still potential for a good bit of story career-wise with Jo, given that she is someone still working to advance in her field and give herself more opportunities to succeed. That’s hard to do given all of the distractions that are there in Seattle, but odds are, she’ll find a way to figure out how to keep her focus on what matters.
One other thing that could be interesting is seeing how the firefighter spin-off, which is being planned as a backdoor pilot, influences Grey’s Anatomy proper. Maybe it doesn’t do much to connect with the Jo character, but you never quite know with this sort of thing.
