2017 BET Awards red carpet live-stream: Where, when to watch
The stream is ultimately rather easy to find, provided that you’ve got access to the internet (necessary, if you’re reading this article) and you are free at around 6:00 p.m. Eastern time or 3:00 p.m. Pacific. The correct venue for you is over at the link here! The stream will provide you with an opportunity to see many of your favorite stars in action before the awards show, hosted by Leslie Jones, even gets going on BET starting at 8:00.
There is also a rather fantastic crew of people being brought in to perform during the show: Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Big Sean, DJ Khaled, Future, Gucci Mane, Mary J. Blige, Migos, Maxwell, New Edition, Tamar Braxton, Lil Wayne, and others. You’re also going to get a great lineup of memorable presenters, one that also includes The Daily Show host Trevor Noah following his recent (and hilarious) stunt where he helped open a museum of Donald Trump live tweets in New York City.
With Jones as the host, we do anticipate that there will be a lot of comedy over the course of the night. There will also probably be some more serious and pointed speeches as well given the current climate of the country. We’re seeing things perhaps more heated and political than ever; all you have to do is look towards every other awards show as of late to see what we’re talking about. Beyond that, though, this night should be an excellent celebration of some of the best of the year, while also honoring some of the icons of the best. The BET Awards do tend to put on one of the better shows out of the entire awards-show community that is out there. Oh, and there’s also a moment or two that often does have a tendency to generate some controversy online.
