Stitchers season 3 episode 2 spoilers: What’s next for Kirsten, Cameron?

Where is the story of Stitchers season 3 episode 2 going to go next on Freeform? There is another new episode coming on Tuesday night; what seems to be at the onus of this upcoming story are a wide array of different romantic arcs.

For Kirsten and Cameron, what could be coming is probably best defined as the two trying to figure out how to understand each other in the midst of what Kirsten went through. This is an arc mostly about emotional vulnerability more so than full-on romance, but it could still be interesting to explore.

Also worth noting here is that there’s another pairing that is going to be worth watching in this episode separate from Camsten, and it will place Camille at the center of it:

Stitchers season 3 episode 2 synopsis – “The Stitchers team investigates the case of a young woman found dead in her wealthy boyfriend’s pool. Meanwhile, Linus feels a connection to Ivy, Cameron has growing concern for Kirsten’s emotional vulnerability and Camille is intrigued by an attractive medical examiner (guest star Anna Akana, “Miss 2059”) who likes to meet in unusual places.”

While there are new developments for many of the characters, the biggest thing worth noting is that the fundamental basics of what Stitchers is as a show is not something that will fundamentally change. This is still a procedural that focuses on different cases on an almost-weekly basis, and there is a little bit of long-term story mixed in there. The biggest reason that we’re fine with the format is because the show is so upfront about what it is. There are so many other series out there that claim to be “serialized,” but don’t actually showcase all that much in the way of major story from one week to the next.

Promo – The team has a case that is tied very much to Russia, which makes you wonder certainly if there is any sort of intention there from a planning point of view. This case looks fun! Alas, there is no evidence that Kirsten’s mother is about to surface, which is a shame given how essential she was to the premiere in terms of knowing that she’s still alive and out there.
