Scorpion season 4: Standalone episode suggestions!

standalone episode

Alas, Scorpion season 4 will not be on the air until the fall, but while we wait for CBS to throw the beloved team back out there in front of our TVs, isn’t now the best time to start handing some standalone episode suggestions?

While there are a few threads that do tend to last from one episode to the next, this show is effectively one that relies mostly on the story of the week to deliver its entertainment. Just in the past year along, there have been missions revolving around chess, wind powers, a young woman who lives within a bubble, and a gas that exposes the worst fears of many members of the team. The sillier the concept, often the more entertaining the show ends up being.

With this in mind, the point of this article is coming up with a series of ridiculous, silly concepts that the CBS show could dive more when the show does come back on the air, most likely in September or early October.

Walter – Given that this is a show that exists within some CBS universe, there’s something very entertaining to us about him having to go undercover on a Big Brother style reality show in order to extract the truth from a fellow contestant that could expose a scientific conspiracy. It’s somewhat hard to know how the show would cast someone with this sort of scientific background, but seeing Walter in a house with complete strangers is worthy of a few laughs.

Paige – Part of the show’s humor comes very much in the form of unusual pairings; personally, we’d love to see an episode where she and Cabe have to team up in an effort to work on a case that needs his military history and her social skills.

Cabe – See above. Or, do a flashback episode where we get a chance to see a young Cabe in action. Show us more of the guy he as, and how different that is from the guy he now is.

Sylvester – Can he be the leader of a mission about dinosaur bones? It seems like it would be one of his pursuits, and a very entertaining one, as well.

Toby and Happy – Find a mission where Toby is forced to use some of the skills he’s learned from Happy in order to stop an engineering accident. Any chance for him to show his mechanical side, but any opportunity for her to show her emotional side, is worthy of some entertainment.
