The Flash video: Candice Patton, Tom Felton reflect on season 3 finale

The Flash video

If you’re looking for a new The Flash video to help you through hiatus, hopefully the following one will suffice for you.

Below, you can see Candice Patton, Tom Felton, Tom Cavanagh, and Jessica Camacho all discuss at length some recent events of the finale. For example, Patton was thrilled to have an opportunity in order to be the one to take down Savitar once and for all. She fired the bullet that killed him, and this was a great way for her to be able to flip around the whole “damsel in distress” label that her character had for most of the season, when it looked as though Savitar was going to be killing her at any moment. (Savitar did end up killing someone, but it was H.R. instead.)

Speaking on H.R., there’s a humorous little moment in here from Cavanagh going on about how the episode he directed in “The Once and Future Flash” was the best one of the season, and also how excited he was to in turn see Felton excited about Julian Albert getting a chance to be a formal part of Team Flash after existing for the first little while on the outside of the team. (To be fair, Cavanagh is correct in that “The Once and Future Flash” was indeed a pretty fantastic hour.)

All of these actors are going to be a part of the fourth season presumably — everyone other than Camacho is a regular, and it’d be a disappointment if Gypsy didn’t turn up after the arc that she had in the finale. The story this time could find the characters taking on a new Big Bad in DeVoe. There is no guarantee that this character will be the central villain, but all signs suggest that given the number of times the character was mentioned from “Abra Kadabra” onward. Filming begins this summer, and hopefully at Comic-Con there will be a chance for a few more assorted details to be dropped about the story that is coming up.
