Is Madam Secretary new tonight? Early season 4 suggestions
Alas, let’s just say that you are going to be waiting a while to see the show back in action. Not only is the series not new tonight, it won’t be on the air altogether until the show comes back in the fall. Judging from the new post below via Tea Leoni, it may be fair to say that the show is coming back in September. That isn’t confirmed just yet, but every suggestion out there seems to make it clear that this is when the show will be coming out with some further stories.
In looking at when the show does come back, there are many interesting stories to tell — especially in the event that the writers choose to dive back into the NATO well once more. When the finale was written recently, there was no way that anyone would have expected that the group was going to be making so many headlines in real life. Yet, we are now days removed from Donald Trump showing up at a NATO event trying to make demands of some other countries. This gives the show almost a Homeland like quality where it seems as though that they are ahead of the curve of current events even more so than they are responding to them.
Obviously, everyone would want there to be a situation where the writers had to make up stories that were in opposition to the real world — after all, if this was the case it would mean that there was actually something resembling peace in the universe. It’s too bad that this doesn’t seem to be something that is happening at any point soon.
So when will some of the first Madam Secretary season 4 details be available?
Think August or early September most likely. Filming will take place in the weeks before that, but this will be the first opportunity for CBS to start to lift the veil when it comes to detains on what lies ahead.
