Power season 4 spoilers: Producers, cast tease Ghost’s future

“Season 4 picks up right after Ghost is arrested, because in part, why would you want to miss any of that?”

This is the opening statement of the video (watch over at the link here) via show creator Courtney A. Kemp, who does her part to set up the story of Power season 4 within it. This is a complicated, fantastic arc that Omari Hardwick’s character finds himself in following what Angela did to book him for the murder of Greg Knox.

Also in this video, you get a chance to learn a few other important teases about what is coming up throughout the season for many of these characters.

Tasha – She is going to be struggling twofold — not only is she still working to handle the fact that Tariq is in the wind, but she has Ghost being arrested by none other than the woman that he was willing to divorce her in order to be with. This is such a layered, dramatic story; it’s hard to feel sorry for Ghost given his actions, but there may still be a certain element of empathy that exists here.

Tommy – He’s going to be looked to as a source for help, but how much will he be willing to go along with that? He’s got his own business dealings to deal with now that Milan is out of the picture.

Angela – Meanwhile, she’s going to be working to prosecute Ghost for what he did. Even if he does tell her that he is innocent in what happened with Greg, he’s absolutely guilty of plenty of other stuff.

Also worth watching this season is the arrival of Sung Kang as a powerful man within the District Attorney’s office, the sort who is intent on getting a victory no matter what it takes. This is obviously very bad for Ghost, but depending on some of his connections, in turn it’s not too hard to see it getting bad for Angela and some other people, as well.

Power season 4, as the end of the aforementioned preview notes, premieres on Starz Sunday, June 25. Brace yourself for a heck of a crazy year.
