The 100 season 5 premiere date hopes for Eliza Taylor, cast
The first thing to remember, beyond of course the fact that the show is coming back for a fifth season, is that the show will not be back in the fall. This is a show that does tend to work the best as a midseason series, where it can run 13-16 episodes without many hiatuses along the way. This allows the show to build momentum and run at a pretty steady pace. Also, given how serialized the show is, it’s almost impossible to imagine it ever having a 22-episode season.
As of right now, the easy assumption is to say that season 5 will premiere in late January or early February. The mystery for now is what timeslot it could feasibly occupy. Given that Wednesday nights are going to be completely transformed with Riverdale and Dynasty occupying the night, it’s no longer guaranteed that the show will premiere there. Nonetheless, it’s certainly possible that it could. If both of those dramas end up getting a 13-15 episode order, it is easy to see a new Wednesday night forming of The 100 and new series Black Lightning. The show aired this season behind Arrow, but that show will air after Supernatural this season as a part of a completely remade lineup.
Could The 100 season 5 be the final one for the series? At the time of this article’s publication, there is no word that it will be. Nonetheless, this is something that you do have to consider as a possibility for now; our personal hope is that the show makes it to a sixth season, or that it goes beyond that and hits the 100-episode mark before signing off for good. There is something very fun and ironic about a show called The 100 getting to that milestone.
As for the story, it’s assumed that the landscape for Eliza Taylor and the rest of the cast could be very different when season 5 premieres. Think in terms of a massive time jump.
