Dancing with the Stars: Was David Ross or Simone Biles eliminated?

David Ross or Rashad Jennings

This season of Dancing with the Stars bore some surprises, but tonight felt like the end of the road for David Ross or Rashad Jennings … but probably Ross. The women have been fairly dominant over the course of it, and while Rashad has been comparable to the women in terms of scores, you don’t see the same sort of buzz about him online.

The unfortunate thing for David is that despite his improvement, he was obviously still the worst dancer of the final four. He’s still got a TON to be proud of given that there is probably less crossover between what he does in real life and what he did on this show than anyone else. Rashad is in a job that requires a lot of footwork; meanwhile Biles is used to being scored using specific choreography, while Normani Kordei has done a variety of dance moves on stage with Fifth Harmony. This isn’t a slight to any of them, so don’t think that this is meant to be some sort of crazy conspiracy theory.

Stay tuned for some more results over the course of the evening.

Results – Normani Kordei and Val Chmerkovskiy were confirmed to be the first pair going to the final round. Following them, it was revealed that Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater would be joining them.

The “bottom two” was David and Simone Biles, which absolutely spelled doom for David on paper. Then again, remember that this season is crazy and Heather Morris went home previously. Crazier things have happened than Sasha going home here.

Did that actually happen? Well, to put it bluntly, yes. Simone somehow went home in fourth place, America’s predictions were wrong again, and somehow David Ross is the new Bill Engvall and has made it to the finale despite being clearly the worst dancer. Will he win? Probably not, but kudos to the fans for getting his this far. It’s easy to feel for him given that so many people are going to give him abuse this week for basically no reason.
