Scorpion season 3 finale spoilers: Will Elyes Gabel, cast leave the island?

Who is going to emerge in one piece on the Scorpion season 3 finale? In one week, the final episode is airing, and the crisis remains. Nobody is free from their island prison just yet; instead, everyone over the course of “Scorp Family Robinson” will continue to drive one another crazy. They will do their best to hope for a proper rescue, but it is not altogether clear if one is forthcoming.

Do we hope for some big moments from Elyes Gabel, Katharine McPhee, and the rest of the cast? Absolutely, though we do still wonder what some of these moments are going to be. While Walter and Paige may have entered the mission to French Polynesia expecting to give a relationship a try, things have not exactly went as planned from start to finish here. All of a sudden, they’ve found themselves having to be trapped in a place far from home without any of the amenities of a tropical paradise.

In some ways, we do think that Team Scorpion deserves some sort of credit for finding a way to stay alive given that survival skills is not something that we really considered to be readily available within these characters’ toolkit. Yet, they’ve somehow been able to figure that out, and the next order of business for all of them is now finding a way to get off said island and resume their lives.

With some finales, we know that the primary goal is cultivating big cliffhangers and leave many jaws on the ground. We don’t think that is the goal here so much as it is trying to tell an entertaining story that sets the stage for what could happen in season 4, though there really are no guarantees of anything. All we know for certain right now is that the fourth season will air in the fall.
