The Voice spoilers: What Brennley Brown, Chris Blue, top 10 will sing

Brennley

Want to know what Brennley Brown, Chris Blue, and the remainder of the Voice top 10 are going to be singing? Allow us to be your resource!

The new songs have been uploaded on iTunes leading into Monday’s new episode, and as usual you have a mix of contemporary hits and classics. We rather like that the show doesn’t rely on gimmicky themes or anything else — they realize that their stars are more than capable of shining without anything in the way of outside help.

Anyway, stop reading now if you want to be surprised by what some of the contestants are performing moving into tonight’s episode.

Aliyah Moulden, “Jealous” – We’re not sure how many viewers in America are familiar with the Labrinth song. To us, the Josh Daniel cover from the British X Factor will always be our favorite singing-show edition.

TSoul, “At This Moment” – A really good, surprising song. There’s a shot for reinvention here and to get on solid footing with voters.

Lauren Duski, “Tell Me why” – Both Lauren and Brennley are favorites at this point, and we’re slightly worried about them both choosing to do country ballads. Will they stand out, or blend together?

Mark Isaiah, “Sign of the Times” – Maybe he feels like he has nothing to lose after being saved twice. This is a GUTSY choice to do a brand-new song from Harry Styles. We do like the song, so we’ll see how this goes.

Lilli Passero, “Unforgettable” – On the flip side, we’re getting here as close to a standard as we’re getting from anyone.

Jesse Larson, “Jungle Love” – We have zero clue if this is going to work, mostly because it’s such an out-there choice.

Vanessa Ferguson, “Doo Wop (That Thing)” – LOVE this. Like with Mark, it’s a big risk — in this case, it’s because this is such an eclectic song.

Chris Blue, “24K Magic” – It’s going to be a good performance; the question is how Chris makes it different from the Bruno Mars version.

Brennley Brown, “Anyway” – We think that this will play very well for Brennley. The one concern we have is just that this Martina McBride song is well-covered already by many others.

Hunter Plake, “Higher Love” – Great song, and a perfect choice for him. There’s a reason why Hunter is one of our favorite artists this season.
