Grey’s Anatomy season 13 episode 22 promo: Alex, April, and conflict

“Leave It Inside” is the title for Grey’s Anatomy season 13 episode 22, and we definitely do come into this installment with plenty of questions. For one, we don’t know what this title is a reference to, and we do often like to think that we have our finger on the pulse with such things. It’s just rather difficult in this instance given that this may be as intentionally-vague of a title as you’re ever going to find for an episode of this show.

As for what is coming up, we do know that there will be some unusual pairings that lead to collaborations, conflicts, and maybe even some big decisions that are coming up.

Grey’s Anatomy season 13 episode 22 synopsis – “April and Andrew consult with a fiery patient who has a giant, inoperable heart tumor. Meanwhile, Alex and Eliza are at odds over the treatment of a young patient, and Stephanie and Ben make decisions that could affect their careers.”

One thing that we do know from the headlines associated with the show is that Jerrika Hinton is planning to leave the series at the end of the series, so odds are Shonda Rhimes has been working to determine the proper way in order to write her off. That is something that is always far more difficult than it may appear on the surface, given that you have to figure out a way to do it that makes a little bit of sense and doesn’t feel like you’re just forcing a character to the curb. Our feeling is that with Stephanie Edwards, she’s accomplished enough at this point that she can get a better position somewhere else moving forward in her career. While the Grey Sloan Memorial may be a great hospital, there is also not a whole lot of room for advancement, either.

Promo – ABC is hyping up specifically here some of the major conflict and tension that is coming between some of these different characters, especially when it comes to a case that Alex is going to be going out on a limb for. This is going to be why he and Eliza get into it.
