Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion part 3: Kandi Burruss’ Porsha conflict explodes
The funny thing about this part of the reunion is that even though this is typically the part that is hyped up around the men, they’re still likely to be overshadowed by some of the drama going on with the women. Remember some of the shocking claims about Porsha Williams and Kandi Burruss from earlier this season? That was pretty uncomfortable to watch back when it was on the show itself, and it’s about to get even more so. The promo below teases that a heated confrontation is coming, and you can see that even more courtesy of the official synopsis below.
Synopsis – “The men join the conversation to weigh in on the drama of the season – including Bob addressing his shortcomings in his relationship with Shereé, and Todd revealing he still has a bone to pick with Phaedra. Cynthia and Peter reveal what life has been like post-divorce and Shamea sits down with the ladies to confront her BFF Porsha, raising questions about Porsha’s budding friendship with Phaedra. As the conversation turns to issues surrounding “Lesbiangate,” friendships are shaken like never before.”
One of the other things that is a little bit crazy about this part of the reunion is simply why in the world all of this stuff matters so much. What did anyone hope to get out of rumors that Kandi Burruss was a lesbian? What do people want to get out of that? That is 2017! The biggest reason Kandi has to be upset is how all of this has ballooned out of control, and she doesn’t feel like the gossip was legitimate in the first place.
By the end of the reunion, let’s just say that it’s pretty unlikely that we’re going to see Porsha and Kandi exchanging any Christmas cards; yet, if they both want to continue to be a part of this show, the odds are likely that they’ll have to spend a lot more time with each other.
