Chicago PD season 4 spoilers: Key stories for Sophia Bush’s Lindsay

Sophia Bush's Lindsay

The further and further we get into Chicago PD season 4, the more one thing is going to be clear: There are some big stories coming for Sophia Bush’s character of Erin Lindsay. This is something that Marina Squierciati subtly teased to us earlier this spring, and it’s something that will become very clear specifically in the final two episodes.

First and foremost, you’re going to see a lot of this playing out in the upcoming May 10 episode entitled “Army of One,” which is going to be the penultimate episode of the season. For Lindsay, not only will she be forced to deal with some difficult issues pertaining to her career, but there will also be some personal challenges that arise in the episode, as well. We don’t know if they involve her family or her relationship with Halstead, but they’re worth keeping your eyes peeled for as we get further into the same.

As for what else is coming in the episode, there is going to be a story that is somewhat haunting in terms of its relevance to present day. A case is opened, after all, following an online video featuring a man being tortured, beaten, and burned alive. It’s a good thing that this episode is a couple of weeks down the road, given how tough it would be to watch given what we just saw in the news when it comes to Facebook Live. This case will be more complicated than just this, though, as the Intelligence team learns that the victim may be someone who was previously locked up for rape. Over time, it may start to feel as though there is one or more vigilantes out there in the city who are attacking people who have a history of some sort of sexual assault.

Given that there is one more episode to go after this one, we’re curious already to see how the events of this episode will carry over into what we do see from here.
