Chicago Justice episode 7 spoilers: The complicated case of ‘Double Helix’

Next week, Chicago Justice episode 7 will be bringing you a new episode entitled “Double Helix,” and it just so turns out that DNA is going to prove very important in Stone and the rest of the State’s Attorney’s office in their hopes of resolving precisely what happened. This is a case that deserves the full extent of the law, given that some of the finer details about it are rather grisly and horrifying.

Chicago Justice episode 7 synopsis – “When a pregnant woman is found murdered and her baby cut out of her, the State’s Attorney’s Investigators race to find the baby and the killer. The case is complicated when it’s revealed that the killer’s DNA matches that of her father: a convicted serial killer already in prison. Both killers then attempt to use the DNA evidence as their ticket to freedom.”

To us, the case really speaks for itself here in terms of how terrible it is. Murdering a pregnant mother is one of the most despicable acts possible, and ripping the baby away like this is right up at the top of the list. Everyone within the office is likely to be invested to the utmost in getting answers, but the difficult part here is going to be most likely trying to find a way to pinpoint the right person responsible. DNA is often such a get-out-of-jail-free card, and this could prove to be a major stumbling block for the entirety of the team. Fingers crossed that they do find a way to figure things out in this instance.

Promo – This offers you up a little bit more insight into what’s coming. Specifically, you are going to see the return of a serial killer who was a big part of Stone’s past many years ago. Now, he faces the possibility of him getting out and becoming a free man again. We have to imagine that for him, this is rather terrifying a thought to have to explore. This episode will do that, and challenge him in a way only a few others do.
