One of the things that could be somewhat fun about this episode is the plurality of the Whittaker role; while she may be playing a Hollywood star, this is one of up-and-comer Schlaepfer’s first TV credits. Pairing her with Huffman should be rather interesting. This story is also something that does often happen within the political world — governments and figures trying to leverage celebrity connections. Remember that actors and actresses often have fans all over the world, and they also often try to find specific causes that they want to support. It’s one thing to be a star, and it’s another thing altogether to try and use that power for good. In this case, though, there is no guarantee it will work.
