Dancing with the Stars 24: Sharna Burgess not dating Bonner Bolton
Even though we’re less than a week into the format start of the season, there are already questions aplenty surrounding whether or not Bonner Bolton is dating his professional partner Sharna Burgess. It’s a subject that the show hyped up in its editing, and there were rumors aplenty that surfaced after the two were spotted out in the days that followed the premiere.
However, the two parties are making it clear — for now — that they are just friends trying to focus on the competition. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, here is what Sharna had to say about the subject:
“Our priorities obviously are getting Bonner through this competition as far as he can possibly go … So, in the meantime, we’re having a lot of fun getting to know each other and we do have great chemistry.”
Both Burgess and Bolton did make it clear that they are both single, so consider that hope if you want to continue to hold a candle for the notion that the two parties could be getting together by the time we make it to the end of the season. For the time being, though, there are more things to worry about.
The notion of a dance couple on the show becoming a real-life couple is not altogether foreign. After all, just remember that Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson are now married! Even with that, though, we’d say that a good 80% of the rumors that float around out there ultimately don’t have a whole lot of weight to them. There are so many dating rumors in fact that it probably becomes frustrating to some of the pros at times that having chemistry automatically means that there must be something more going on.
For Bonner in particular, dancing has to be the priority if he wants to last a while longer in the competition. While his first dance was not terrible, the scores at the same time were less than perfect. It’s clear that he still has some work to do in order to move further into the competition.
