Big Brother Canada 5 live feed spoilers: Eviction talk; pots and pans

Pots and pans

Dallas went to pots and pans in the Big Brother Canada house overnight — with that, can we all start to agree that he may be the worst returning player in the history of the Big Brother franchise?

Here’s what we’ll say about Dallas as we get set to potentially eulogize his time in the house. While he may not be a good player, he’s very entertaining television because he tends to have no clue what he’s doing. We’ve used the bull-in-a-china-shop comparison several times, but it’s so true with this guy. He can’t stop himself from wrecking things even if he wants to. He was so abrasive and obnoxious that he found himself in hot water, and then, he made things worse with the house meetings, with the speeches, and with at times alienating potential allies.

Yet, it was ironically him going so crazy — and doing a cheap Evel Dick impersonation with the pots and pans — that have some people this morning discussing keeping him. Dallas may be a major thorn in the side of some people, but he could also be a huge meat-shield for people like Ika, Dre, or Cassandra. There were serious conversations about it overnight and this morning, but Ika seemed fine after some of them to distance herself and put some of the blame elsewhere. She’s trying to put herself in a position where if it happens, it doesn’t look like she is the person responsible for pulling it off. Therefore, she’s not the target. It may be more transparent than she thinks that it is, and that is therefore something that is worth watching as we look ahead towards tonight’s eviction.

While things were in some flux when the feeds went down this morning (maybe they’ll be back, but tough to say), our sentiment is that Dallas still goes. Votes rarely change at the last second. There is a cognizance that Dillon and Emily are a pair, but given that neither one of them are great players, they’ll be easy to split up down the road. They’ve got Dallas on the block now, so taking him out ensures that he doesn’t cause trouble for anyone else.

We give the guy credit for trying, though we invalidate that credit slightly since he put himself in this spot in the first place courtesy of some of his antics.

We’ll be back later tonight to specifically break all of this down. (Photo: Global.)
