NCIS: Los Angeles season 8, episode 16: Kensi, Deeks undercover again!

Kensi, Deeks -

For those of you wanting to see Kensi, Deeks, and an undercover mission on NCIS: Los Angeles sooner rather than later, great news!

In the sneak peek below for Sunday night’s new episode entitled “Old Tricks,” you can see Kensi being told the great news by Hetty: She’s got a new mission with her longtime love, and she’s officially back with the team. Never before have we been so stoked to hear the words “welcome back” said to her. We’ve been waiting for a long time, but with the mole story in the rear-view mirror the show will move on to other things.

For Kensi and Deeks, this mission in particular will entail the two of them working at a senior-citizen home looking for what happened to a military veteran who’s gone missing. He comes from a long line of heroes, and you would think that he was the sort of person who would long to help people rather than have them go through hell. Unfortunately, this is not the case here. He’s been seemingly taken for some reason, and it’s hard to know what it is.

This episode will feature guest spots from Martin Mull and That 70’s Show alum Debra Jo Rupp, and hopefully over the course of the hour we’ll learn more about their characters. On the surface, they are playing two con artists who like to go undercover at such places. Think of them as even seedier versions of Jimmy McGill during the first season of Better Call Saul. He was out to marginally help his clients, though at the same time mooch on their money and further his own future as an attorney. These people seem to be so much more in the “chaotic evil” department and are only out for themselves.

This episode should be a thrill for all of the Densi ‘shippers out there, and it will also should allow for an opportunity or two to see the team start to settle in more to their old habits.

If you missed it earlier, NCIS: LA is in contention in our TV Madness tournament for the month. To support the show, be sure to head over here!
