Shark Tank preview: Rareform, Blendtique Wine, The Sleep Styler, MealEnders, and a Robert Herjavec spotlight

Rareform -

Tonight, Shark Tank will be airing a new episode on ABC, and the products featured (Rareform, Blendtique Wine, MealEnders, and The Sleep Styler) bring a lot to the table. One thing you should know to go along with this is that the episode is airing at a special time. Tune in early at 8:00 p.m. Eastern since you don’t want to miss it!

In addition to the products, we’re also going to get a more personal spotlight in this episode about Robert Herjavec, and his own personal journey to success. This is the latest in the inspirational Shark spotlights that the show’s done all season. We’ve got the tiniest of teases of that (in gif form) at the bottom of this article; let’s get now into spotlighting some of the individual products!

As always, you can click on any of the links below for further information.

Blendtique Wine – We are in the age of customization, so why not make it so that you can have your own custom blend of wine? This company gives you the tools necessary to cultivate and customize your own blend in several different ways. You can also create your own labels and after creating it, have a bottle or two sent right to you. There are some wine fanatics among the Sharks, so this could generate interest.

MealEnders – The idea is that these two-layer capsules are able to give you a small dessert-like reward at the end of a meal, and then also provide you with a way to clear your palette and help to take you away from the process of indulging until the next time you’re reading to dine. If they work to curb over-eating, then it’s an effective product. The key here, though, is that results may vary — it even says so on the website. Weight-loss or diet-control products are such tricky sells since you can’t guarantee success, and Sharks are always very cagey on any specific claims. Smartly, this business seems to be doing a good job at avoiding some false promises based on what we’ve seen so far.

Rareform – There is a very key similarity between this company and the Firefighter Turnout Bags that we saw recently in that they are basically taking material that is typically used for one thing, and then finding a way to make it work for something else. Specifically here, they are doing this with billboard vinyl, turning them into unique bags that are sustainable and helpful to the environment. This is a business that, similar to Blendtique, really prioritizes uniqueness. We can see it taking off for people who want to stand out.

The Sleep Styler – The first thing we should say is that we know little to nothing about women’s hair-care. From an outsider perspective, this looks incredibly smart as a way for someone to go to sleep wearing the product, and then wake up with hair that is already done and ready for the day. In theory, you’re cutting down your prep time from an hour to five or ten minutes! With that said, we don’t know how easy to is to sleep with these things in your hair.
