Dancing with the Stars 24 spoilers: Nick Viall, Fifth Harmony, Nancy Kerrigan, and more
According to Variety, there is a member of the now four-piece girl group who will likely be a part of the new season, and this could be a good way in order to bring them some further exposure following a crazy past few months. There’s been massive touring, but also drama courtesy of Camila Cabello’s exit. Plus, having a member on the show all but guarantees a Fifth Harmony performance at some point.
If the latest rumors are true, there is absolutely quite a bit to like about the roster that ABC is currently putting together. There are several notable names out there! Nick Viall of The Bachelor is getting a ton of attention to the surprise of no one, while legendary skater Nancy Kerrigan is getting some discussion, ironically at the same time that a Tonya Harding movie is being made featuring Margot Robbie in the role. Mr. T is getting a lot of attention; we pity the fool who tries to compete with him!
Also, there is Simone Biles, who wanted to compete last season but had scheduling conflicts. (Her teammate Laurie Hernandez competed last season and ended up winning.)
Will any of them be good dancers?
You can go ahead and label Biles the favorite if she’s a part of the show. She may face some backlash from people disenfranchised with the obvious favorites, but otherwise she should garner plenty of attention. Nick’s ceiling is probably the top 6 or 5, since he’s not a dancer by trade and there are some viewers out there who simply don’t like The Bachelor and won’t support anyone associated with the show. Mr. T will likely be a hot mess, but we’re still excited to see him! Having a Fifth Harmony Dancing with the Stars connection is a little more appealing both in terms of winner odds and what the show wants to do. The girl group is enormously popular, and they’re used to dancing on stage. (Photo: ABC.)
