‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10, episode 17 preview: Sheldon tries to sell Amy on Comic-Con

Big Bang Theory -San Diego Comic-Con is a wonderful time for many people out there — it’s an opportunity to see like-minded people get together, mingle, and chat with various celebrities. It’s also a chance to spend hours of time in line for various panels!

We joke a lot about Comic-Con just because it’s such a weird, unique experience — it’s a lot of fun when when you’re there, but getting there can be a LOT of trouble. You gotta be lucky enough to get the tickets, you have to find a good hotel room unless you’re willing to make the drive down daily (that’s a long drive from Pasadena), and then you have to figure out what you want to do and when. It’s a crazy experience, but there really are few quite like it.

Of course, this also isn’t an experience for everyone — hence the promo below for Thursday night’s new episode of “The Big Bang Theory,” where we see that Amy is clearly not too keen on the idea of coming down to San Diego with Sheldon. Therefore, he tries to convince her with what may or may not be his best attempt at innuendo. (Minor quibble with the story — it’s hard to know this early WHO specifically is going to be there at Comic-Con. WonderCon, meanwhile, is an entirely different story.)

We’re not sure whether or not Amy will end up attending the convention, but there’s another big story in this episode coming for Raj. You could see him trying to figure out whether or not he can even afford to go this year given that he recently cut ties financially with his father, and that’s going to be a rather-rough transition for him. Who knows? It may even lead to him making the decision to live with Leonard and Penny, given that this was something that was discussed on this past episode of the show.
