‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 8, episode 15 preview: Can Daniela Ruah’s Kensi escape?

Payback -At the end of this past episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles,” there were certainly some key revelations in the whole storyline of the mole; however, they weren’t the sort that ended the arc and tied everything up into a neat little bow. They were more of the variety where you learn a thing or two more about what’s going on, but someone is left in a desperate situation with their leg about to be cut off and you’re left to wonder if they’ve got any hope at all of coming through the situation alive.

This is where we are as we move into the next new episode “Payback,” which is airing on CBS tomorrow. The sneak peek below does a pretty fantastic job of painting the picture for precisely how much danger Daniela Ruah’s Kensi is in. She now knows about Sullivan’s culpability, and even some of his motives. Unfortunately, none of this does her any good at all as she hopes to see if she can get herself out of this situation and emerge on the other side with both of her legs.

Sullivan, clearly, is an eye-for-an-eye sort of guy. He determines that the best way to get at Kensi is to take away something of great value to her — i.e. the same exact thing that was taken from him. This episode is entitled “Payback” for a reason, and this is probably it.

You have to hope that somewhere along the line, Deeks, Callen, Sam, and the rest of the team is going to be able to find her and then retrieve her before anything else comes to pass with her. The one thing that gives us hope is that if Sullivan REALLY was interested in removing her leg and virtually nothing else, he could’ve done that and moved forward in a pretty scant amount of time. There was no reason for him to draw this on anywhere near as long as he did. He’s monologuing, stalling, or anything else that you want to call it.
